Our Core Services: Protecting Your Home and Business

We offer services for residential and commercial properties, focusing on safeguarding your investment and peace of mind.

We handle common pests in coastal Southern California, including:

  • Termites, including subterranean and drywood species
  • Rodents such as rats and mice
  • Bed bugs, ants, cockroaches, and spiders
  • Pantry pests and other nuisance insects

Properties near Corona del Mar State Beach, the Back Bay, or coastal moisture-prone areas often face unique pest challenges. Our free inspection assesses these site-specific conditions, enabling us to create a tailored treatment plan that prevents recurring problems. Besides addressing pests, we also educate clients on preventive measures to help them maintain a safe and comfortable environment year-round.

Thorough, Customized Pest Management

Every property is unique, and so is every pest issue. That’s why we offer a free, no-obligation inspection. Our trained professionals evaluate the property’s structure, landscaping, and moisture levels to identify the specific vulnerabilities pests target. We then create a customized treatment plan that addresses the root cause, not just the visible signs.

This approach is especially vital in areas with older coastal homes, cliffside properties, and luxury construction, which have unique structural and underground conditions. By tailoring treatments to each property’s specific environment, we can achieve more effective, durable results.

Have Questions?

Our Team Has The Answers.
  • To ensure that the treatment is being done properly, the homeowner should observe the treatment process. Unless the homeowner is chemically sensitive, there should not be any adverse health problems associated with a treatment done correctly. Ask questions of the pest control technicians. Keep track of how long it takes them to do the job.
  • Termites move randomly through the soil searching for a source of food (wood). They do not have the ability to know exactly where your house is. So, if your next-door neighbor treats his home for termites, your house isn’t automatically the termites’ next lunch. No, your house does not need to be treated; but, if there are active termite infestations in your neighborhood, it is a good idea to have it inspected.
  • The best thing you can do is to be involved and observant in the inspection process. For example if you request an inspection and the inspector doesn’t inspect obvious areas such as your garage, attic, basement, etc., then you may need to consult an additional company. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

  • Fumigation process normally takes 3 days and 2 nights unless there is a holiday or weekends or if special arrangements are made. Kilter’s Stay in Your Home termite treatment requires no leaving your home at all.
