Extendable Warranty Serving Families Throughout Southern California

Is Kilter’s Annual Termite Warranty for you?

If you purchased a termite treatment from Kilter Termite & Pest Control, it came with our 2 year “No Problem” warranty. Which meant, if termites came back within those 2 years, we would come re-treat for free. At the end of those 2 years, you are given the opportunity to extend your warranty annually. If you renew your warranty every year, your property will always be covered for termites. Think of it as termite insurance for your home but unlike other types of insurance, every year when you renew, we come out and re-inspect & re-treat any activity we find. This keeps your home protected at a fraction of the original treatment price.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What happens if my warranty lapses?

A: If your warranty lapses or cancels, if termites return (and they normally will without a consistent treatment plan) you must re-start the whole treatment process from the beginning (with Kilter or another company). That means a new free inspection, followed by a new treatment. Here in Southern CA, new treatments start at $2000. It is far cheaper to maintain your annual warranty for a few hundred dollars vs thousands of dollars.

Q: How much does it cost to renew each year?

A: It varies depending on your original treatment and coverage but generally $325 - $500. Our renewal pricing is consistently one of the lowest in CA.

Q: How will I know when I need to renew my termite coverage?

A: Your due date can vary but it’s normally your original treatment date. Don’t worry, we will call, text and email you beginning 45 days prior to your due date. *Note: please make sure all your contact info is accurate and up to date.

Q: My original treatment was for the garage & master bedroom. What happens if termites show up in a different part of my home?

A: Other than our low pricing, this is the best feature of our warranty, it doesn’t matter where termites show up, once you are under warranty with Kilter YOUR ENTIRE HOME IS COVERED! All you have to do is contact us and we will take care of it.

Q: Right now, I don’t have time for my annual inspection, can I just pay my renewal fee and schedule the inspection later?

A: We don’t advise it, but life happens so yes, our system is set up to extend your warranty by 1 year once your renewal fee is processed. But keep in mind, termites can do damage quickly if left unchecked. It is always best to keep up your annual inspections and treatments.
